| Description | Two issues: 1) If you've installed from a Flatpak package, the theme switch isn't always reliable...probably because it depends on having the inverse themes installed. Not sure exactly why this is. Flatpak and theming is surprisingly annoying. 2) If your system is dark, and you tell the app you want light, that doesn't work. This is a missing GTK feature that affects many apps -- try it in the Linux Mint/Gnome terminal app and it has the same problem. The GTK property is "gtk-application-prefer-dark-theme" which does exactly what it says -- the app prefers dark (even when system is light). But there is no "prefers light" setting, so if you WANT one app to be light on an otherwise dark system, GTK does not have a built-in way of doing it. | ||||
