A few things don't work as reliably or well in GTK (i.e., Linux) as they do on Windows and Mac.

Jump to bottom not always working [particularly when using wxPython 4.0, which is still the default in many major distros) -- also jumping to top (??) when saving settings

The wx.TextCtrl margin settings are not respected; might need to do some GTK magic. Also possible this isn't even supported, but that would be really dumb and annoying!

Clicking toolbar sometimes sticks with the highlight color (e.g., opening prefs)

Forced color modes are not entirely reliable - we're pretty much 100% when using the system colors but things are weird if you force dark when in light mode or vice-versa. Be smarter - use themes! -
