Summary | 0001398: Improvement: Optional Praises and Encouragement
Description | We have the statusbar at the bottom and it isn't in use very much while the user is writing. We could use that space to offer little praises and encouragement at writing milestones. Adding 500 words in a session, at each 1,000 new words in a session, each 10,000 total words, etc. "You've added 500 in this session. Great work!" etc. This should be optional, of course, since some people might find it annoying. I see it as being a feature similar to the commit/pull sounds, a small nudge to keep going and provide positive reinforcement.
