| Description | Support in-place auto-update (instead of making the user go to the website to manually download). For Mac, look into Sparkle framework: https://sparkle-project.org/ For Windows, could download the installer, then quit the app and run it. Also look into WinSparkle framework: https://winsparkle.org/ For Linux, look into mechanism to auto-update DEB, RPM, and Flatpaks (run repos? or just grab the files and run standard installer processes). | ||||
